The Summer transfer window started on 14th June and is set to pick up pace after the EURO 2024 ends but a lot of players have been linked with Manchester United. Following the club's decision to cash on a few players including Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood to flex some muscle in the transfer window, keeping in view the FFP regulations that have restricted business for Manchester United. The new ownership under INEOS has already started an overhauling of the club with key staff changes in the senior leadership and has envisioned new leadership and promised to put football and fans as a priority.

Manchester United look set to sell Mason Greenwood who is expected to make a move to Serie A giants Juventus with a reported £40m fee. However, lately, Valencia has also jumped in to secure the signature of the highly talented United forward as per a report by The Mirror. Jadon Sancho is also set to leave the club after an unimpressive transfer from Dortmund for £75m. The English winger had issues with the manager and refused to apologize to the manager for a social media spat, ending in an exile loan to Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund looks like the most realistic option for him as United are set to put Sancho off their wage bill and get some return on their investment.

As per a report by The BBC, Manchester United are also interested in the Dutch defender, De Ligt. The Dutch international has previously worked with Erik ten Hag at Ajax and enjoys a good relationship with him. The defender is valued at £42m by Bayern Munich and is open to negotiating a deal with Manchester United. This development comes after Everton rejected United's offer of £35 m for Jarrad Branthwaite. The club does not want to meet the valuation as seen by Everton and will look into other targets if they can't come to terms with the transfer fee for the highly-rated English defender.

Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Crystal Palace's winger, Michael Olise who has a £60m release clause also but at this moment, Chelsea seems to lead the race for the signature of the French international. Lille's Leny Yoro is also linked with Manchester United but nothing concrete has come in that regard.

Manchester United are looking to bolster their squad after making the decision to keep manager, Erik ten Hag. The INEOS leadership has vowed to put Manchester United at the top again and are willing to spend the cash for that matter. Manchester United is a top club and it needs to challenge at the highest level of English football. Fingers crossed for yet another exciting transfer window to come.
