Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo were among the 8 stars from Manchester United who will represent their countries at the summer extravaganza of EURO 2024 in Germany. Gareth Southgate announced his 26-man squad and left Manchester United's Harry Maguire owing to an injury that he won't be able to recover from in time for the Euro 2024. No other United star was included in the final list.

England will play Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia in their group games. Kobbie Mainoo came into the team after a solid season at Manchester United while Luke Shaw despite missing much of the season to an injury was selected as a calculated risk by the manager.

Among other players Scott McTominay will represent Scotland who faces Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary in their group stages while the Danish duo of Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund will represent Denmark. Denmark will play Slovenia, England, and Serbia in their group-stage games.

Diago Dalot, who had an impressive season at United will join club captain Bruno Fernandes at Portugal who is one of the favourites in this tournament to face the Czech Republic, Turkey, and Georgia in their group-stage games. In the same group will be United's second-choice goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir who will represent Turkey at the EURO 2024. The goalkeeper was unable to see much action during the season but is expected to start in a Turkish side for the tournament.
