Manchester United look to continue their positive run of form when they face Crystal Palace in the Premier League this Saturday. Erik ten Hag’s side is coming off the back of two strong victories, having beaten Southampton 3-0 and Barnsley 7-0 in the past week.

There is more good news for the Red Devils, as both Rasmus Højlund and Mason Mount have returned to training after recovering from injuries. Højlund has yet to make a competitive appearance this season, while Mount has been sidelined since the game against Brighton four weeks ago. The duo will be assessed ahead of the Palace clash, with Ten Hag noting their return is “very pleasing” but a decision on their involvement will be made closer to match day. However, it is believed that they won’t be rushed back into the team to avoid any injury setback.

United made eight changes for their Carabao Cup victory against Barnsley, with only Diogo Dalot, Christian Eriksen, and Marcus Rashford retaining the starting spots from the Southampton game. New signing Manuel Ugarte also impressed on his full debut, while Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo were rested and will be available for selection after a full week off.

However, the Reds will continue without Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, and youngster Leny Yoro, who remain sidelined with injuries. While with a few returns and comfortable victories last week, United will be eager to put last season’s 4-0 defeat at Selhurst Park behind them and continue their momentum as they travel to London.
