Manchester United Sign Norwegian Forward
Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Norwegian international Elisabeth Terland, marking their third transfer of the summer transfer window for the women’s team. The 23-year-old striker joins the Red Devils from Brighton & Hove Albion, where she spent the last two seasons.
Terland, who signed a two-year deal with an option for an additional year, made a significant impact in the Women's Super League (WSL) last season. She finished as the league's joint second top scorer with 13 goals, alongside Lauren James and eight goals behind the Golden Boot winner, Khadija Shaw.

"Elisabeth is a young player who will bring a fresh dynamic and energy to our team," said Manchester United manager Marc Skinner. "We are delighted she has chosen to become part of our Manchester United family and look forward to integrating her into our playing squad."
Terland's arrival is a boost for United, who recently saw the departure of star goalkeeper Mary Earps to Paris Saint-Germain and club captain Katie Zelem as well as forward Lucia Garcia to Monterrey in Mexico.
"I’m so honoured to sign for Manchester United and cannot wait to join up with the team," Terland said "Having experienced their excellent fans from the opposing side, I’m really looking forward to having them in my corner this season."
With the latest addition of Terland, defender Dominique Janssen, and forward Melvine Malard, United are strengthening their squad ahead of the new WSL season, set to start on the weekend of September 21-22. After finishing fifth last term, Skinner's side aims to climb into the league table in the upcoming season.
