Manchester United have reportedly decided they won't be offering Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof contract extensions meaning the pair will depart next summer. The veteran duo's current deals expire in June next year and they are set to leave the club.

Manchester Evening News reports that Eriksen and Lindelof will head a potential exodus at Manchester United next summer. The former has been with the Red Devils since July 2022, when he arrived as a free agent after leaving Brentford.

Eriksen, 32, had been an integral member of Erik ten Hag's first team during his first season but has fallen down the pecking order. The Danish midfielder has made just one four-minute cameo appearance this season. He struggled for minutes last season with his manager preferring Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro and the now-departed Scott McTominay.

Lindelof, 30, will likely have an equally difficult time forging his way into United's defense this season. Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro, and Noussair Mazraoui's arrivals have given Ten Hag strength in depth, and the Swede is currently dealing with injury issues. He's been linked with Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce.

Eriksen and Lindelof aren't the only two of Ten Hag's crop who could depart Manchester United next summer, with Jonny Evans, 36, also out of contract. The northern Irish defender signed a one-year extension earlier this summer but isn't expected to extend his stay further than this season.

Speculation continues to grow over Harry Maguire's future as the former Red Devils captain will also be out of contract in June 2025. The club have the option of triggering a one-year extension but the 31-year-old has continuously been linked with a departure in recent years.

Maguire and Evans were a prominent prescence in Ten Hag's team last season amid an injury crisis. That has been rectified by INEOS' summer overhaul with De Ligt and Yoro likely to be mainstays in the Dutchman's starting XI for years to come.

One player who is likely to remain at Old Trafford despite months remaining on his current deal is Amad Diallo. The in-form 22-year-old winger has been a starter so far this season and netted in a 2-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. Ten Hag recently suggested the Ivorian is part of his long-term plans at the club and there is the option of a one-year extension.
