"Biggest in the world" - Manchester United summer signing is finding 'everything big' at Old Trafford

Leny Yoro has highlighted the magnitude of joining Manchester United and how everything at the club is 'big'. The 18-year-old French centre-back has missed the start of the season due to a foot injury he sustained during pre-season.

The France U21 international spoke with club legend Rio Ferdinand on TNT Sports about the Red Devils. He said:

“For me, Man United is the biggest in the world. To play for Man United is... even when I was young, the players that were here, the history, the fans. Everything is big here”,

Leny Yoro was a man in-demand in the summer after an eye-catching season at Lille. He appeared 44 times across competitions, helping the Ligue 1 side keep 20 clean sheets. United reportedly beat Real Madrid to his signature despite the La Liga giants viewing him as the 'Kylian Mbappe of defenders'.

The young centre-back's comments about the club suggest he's more than happy with his decision to head to Old Trafford. Fans await his debut which might be on the horizon given recent reports.

When is Leny Yoro going to make his debut?

Yoro is eyeing a return in December having missed the start of the season due to a foot injury he picked up in pre-season. He was forced off in the first half of a 2-1 friendly defeat to Arsenal, and the Gunners are the opposition he could make his first competitive appearance against (December 3).
