Marcus Rashford returned to Man United training, but he trained alone. This tells Man United fans everything they need to know about his future.

Over the last decade (yes, it's been that long), Marcus Rashford has become a household name in Manchester. Of course, it all began when he burst onto the football scene, scoring notable braces in the Europa League and against Arsenal.

Following on from his exciting goalscoring ability, Marcus Rashford made a difference in his local community by tackling hunger issues, particularly for school-age children. So, Rashford is well-respected in Manchester.

However, Rashford may not be a Man United player for much longer.

Marcus Rashford trains alone at Man United

Marcus Rashford is linked with a move away from Manchester, but he's still contractually bound to the Red Devils, and he returned after his successful loan spell to Aston Villa. Despite being a success on loan at Villa, the Villans could not commit to extending his stay permanently.

Now, Marcus Rashford has officially returned to Man United duties, but it remains to be seen for how long. According to a report from The Athletic, Rashford trained with Man United but it was a solo session, and he didn't take part in any team session.

This came after Man United granted Rashford extended leave, but opened up medical and rehabilitation services to their players even during their leave.

The writing's on the wall for Marcus Rashford

In case it wasn't obvious enough already: Marcus Rashford will be leaving Man United this summer.

It would be the shock of the century if he remained at the club beyond this summer.

Now, whether his move away is on loan or a more permanent deal remains to be seen. However, Rashford seems to have his heart set elsewhere. The feeling appears mutual at the club, too.

Recently, Man United gave away the number 10 jersey, previously worn by Marcus Rashford, to new signing Matheus Cunha.

Now, Rashford needs to just accept that he's probably not going to get a move elsewhere without accepting a pay cut. That's on him, not on Man United.
