Matheus Cunha has officially been handed the number 10 jersey at Man United. Here's why that's bigger than some fans may think.

Man United is certainly in the market to improve their attack this summer. With key names all expected to be shown the exit door, if they weren't headed there already, Man United has a mountain to climb with attacking reinforcements.

Anyway, Matheus Cunha has arrived at Man United and it's fair to say, there's plenty of excitement in the air surrounding the Brazil international. Not only does he arrive with brilliant Premier League experience already, but he arrives with a great expectation on his shoulders, that expectation he'll be excited to exceed.

The number 10 jersey has a rich history at Man United. Some of the best players in their history have worn the number 10 over the years.

Some of those notable names and faces include Wayne Rooney, George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton and Teddy Sheringham.

However, it's not just the legends which will make Matheus Cunha be proud of his squad number, but it's who he inherited it from - Marcus Rashford.

Yep, given everything that's ongoing with Rashford right now, it's fair to say that seeing his squad name being given out will raise eyebrows among the Old Trafford faithful.
