Manchester United will be looking to bounce back in their upcoming Premier League tie with Norwich. Here’s how they will line-up.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has endured a tough couple of weeks as Manchester United boss. The turn of the new year has only aggravated his precarious situation at Old Trafford.
In both defeats against Arsenal and Manchester City the Norwegian boss sighed deeply and had his head in his hands for much of the game.
Nothing seems to be going right for the team. Injuries have occurred at the worst of times and the team have picked up some terrible results. Currently they are five points away from the long coveted Champions League spot and the chance to return back among Europe’s elite is slowly slipping away from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s grasp.
In Norwich City, on paper, the Premier League’s worst side is visiting Old Trafford this afternoon. Norwich City have been hugely disappointing and their defence has looked very shaky in some games this season.
However they are not to be underestimated. Norwich have also beaten the likes of Manchester City and have drawn to Arsenal and Tottenham. They have players like Todd Cantwell who has recently been linked with a move to the Red Devils and some potent attacking threat in the likes of Teemu Pukki.
Therefore United will have to put their best side out. Here is how they are expected to line-up.
Goalkeeper: David De Gea
Right Back: Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Centre Back: Victor Lindelof
Centre Back: Harry Maguire
Left Back: Brandon Williams
Holding Midfielder: Nemanja Matic
Central Midfielder: Andreas Pereira
Central Midfielder: Fred
Right Winger: Mason Greenwood
Forward: Anthony Martial
Left Winger: Marcus Rashford
Despite some fears that Harry Maguire might be ruled out for an extensive period, the United vice-captain was back in training and he is expected to start against Norwich.
Mason Greenwood will come in on the wing to give the Red Devils’ attack even more of a goal threat.
Meanwhile in midfield, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t have much choice with many of his players ruled out due to injury.
What do you think how will Manchester United do against Norwich City?
