You've just got to love the summer transfer window. At Manchester United, the top priority is to get things done with Bryan Mbeumo and then shift the focus to bringing in a quality striker. However, the board surely hasn't forgotten about the goalkeeper position.

It goes without saying, but replacing David de Gea with Andre Onana has proven to be one of the worst decisions the club has made in the past 10 years. Onana's move to the Premier League has been brutal. Might Marc-Andre ter Stegen be interested in taking over his spot?

In a bit of a stunner, plenty of signs are pointing to the German international leaving FC Barcelona this summer. Ter Stegen is falling down the pecking order, which he's not happy about. Per reports, ter Stegen would only leave Barcelona if his contract is paid in full. This would shockingly make signing him as a free agent a possibility.

Ter Stegen to Manchester United would be quite the move for the Red Devils

Obviously, a lot of dominoes would have to fall for this to be a serious possibility, but it's clear that ter Stegen is not happy with how Barcelona has handled business this offseason. The La Liga giants brought in Joan Garcia and he's expected to be the new starter between the posts.

Ter Stegen is still only 33 years old, with plenty of great football still left ahead of him. Because of this, it's understandable that he might feel like he's getting pushed out the door. If he does make an exit, then there definitely might be some intrigue from United's part about getting something done.

The EPL side has also been linked to Emi Martinez, who appears to be on his way out from Aston Villa. Martinez would surely be a step up from Onana, who fans are sick and tired of seeing making senseless mistakes. Again, Mbeumo and signing a striker are priorities for the club, but if ter Stegen becomes available, don't be surprised if Ruben Amorim runs to try to land him.
