Potter or Tuchel: Who Will Save United if They Stumble in Two Key Matches

Erik ten Hag might have two games to rescue his job at Manchester United. The Dutch coach may face dismissal if his team fails to secure victories against Brentford and Fenerbahce after the international break.

According to TEAMtalk, Erik ten Hag has just two games left to save his Manchester United job. With only three wins, two draws, and three losses, this is the Red Devils' worst start to a Premier League season with seven games played.

Fans are disappointed; some have given up faith that the glory days will return to Old Trafford soon. Some believe Ten Hag is not the right guy to lead this United side back to the promised land, and there have been calls for his dismissal.

The Dutchman seemingly had two games left to save his job, against FC Porto and Aston Villa, after a humiliating 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. But, with a 3-3 draw against Porto and a goalless draw against Villa, the United manager may have temporarily saved his job.

Brentford and Fenerbahce will decide Ten Hag's fate

Hopefully, the games against Porto and Villa marked the beginning of Ten Hag's United resurgence. If not, the aforementioned source reports that a new manager will replace the former Ajax manager.

INEOS has given Ten Hag two games, Brentford in the league (October 19) and Fenerbache in the Europa League (October 24), for his United team to bounce back and return to winning ways. If not, the Dutch tactician may be replaced by another top coach to try to bring success back to the Theatre of Dreams

If Ten Hag leaves, Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter are reportedly the top two favourites to replace him. Both are out of work after spells at Bayern Munich and Chelsea respectively.
