Was it worth the wait, Manchester United fans? For a little while now, people have been waiting for a positive update to come in on Bryan Mbeumo, a standout winger for Brentford. He's been linked to the Manchester side since the window opened and now things are across the line.
There are three words that people can't wait to see on social media whenever a big target is on the verge of making a move. Moments ago, those three words were fired off, with the one and only Fabrizio Romano delivering his 'Here We Go' to confirm that Mbeumo indeed is on his way to Man United for this next step in his career:

Bryan Mbeumo is all set to join Manchester United from Brentford FC
The two sides were stuck in negotiations, but Manchester United ultimately made Brentford happy by putting MONEY on the table. £65m plus £6m add-ons, to be exact.
This is the second splash move made by the United board in the past month, with Brazilian standout Matheus Cunha joining the club from Wolves.
With Cunha and Mbeumo joining the EPL giants, it's a great start for United, but more work is surely on the way. It goes without saying, but bringing in a stud striker has to be a top priority - rumors continue to swirl that Rasmus Hojlund could be on his way out.
Selling Jadon Sancho, with Fenerbahce as a potential landing spot, is something that needs to get done as soon as possible. Alejandro Garnacho won't return to Manchester next season either, as his relationship with Ruben Amorim has reached a point of no return.
The expectation is that Marcus Rashford will be gone too, but reports state Barcelona is eyeing a loan move instead of a permanent transfer. Regardless, more sales are on the way, which will open up funds for MUFC to be aggressive in bringing in top talent.
There's no question that the Mbeumo addition is one that's going to have fans smiling for quite some time. He's a fantastic speedster flying down the wing and he's got the ability to score some lovely goals in front of the Stretford End. He's going to be a joy to watch at Old Trafford, no doubt about that.
