Man United will submit one final bid for Bryan Mbeumo but the club knows it's their last chance. The real reason will stab Man United fans' hearts.

Man United fans have their hearts set on Bryan Mbeumo but unfortunately, it's looking increasingly likely that he'll stay at Brentford. Of course, nothing is set in stone right now, but given recent reports, it seems like Man United and Brentford are no closer to reaching an agreement on valuation.

Twice already, Man United has submitted bids for Bryan Mbeumo, but both of them were handed an Uno reverse card. Now, Man United is losing hope.

Man United will give Bryan Mbeumo one last shot

According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, Man United is close to missing out on their own internal deadline. Originally, they wanted to sign Mbeumo before Friday, but with a deal no closer to happening, they look sure to miss that.

The reason why Man United wanted Bryan Mbeumo in before the end of the week is so he would have full access to the same training plan as his new teammates. Man United is due to begin training again on July 7, as they prepare to take on Leeds United in Stockholm, Sweden, for their first pre-season game.

With two bids already rejected, Man United will give it one last roll of the dice. If their next bid is rejected by Brentford, then Man United will walk away and pursue other options.

This is Man United's own fault

While it's disappointing to see, Man United fans have seen this exact scenario play out in front of them a million times before. In the modern age, Man United is the target of strict club negotiations, and they have to set boundaries before clubs walk all over them.

However, fans feel no sympathy for the club. It's Man United's own fault that they've got themselves into this mess.

Not only have Man United overpaid for underperforming players, but they've also offered out huge salaries to players who went on to not deserve even a fraction of it. Therefore, clubs see Man United as a pushover, and it's through their own fault.

So, Man United can point the finger at Brentford all they want. The reality is, they wouldn't be in this mess if they paid the right amount for players in the past. Man United dug this hole, now they have to lay in it... Which is obviously unfair for paying fans.
