It’s official: Sabitzer and Weghorst are no longer Manchester United players

It’s official, Manchester United announced that both Marcel Sabitzer and Wout Weghorst will return to their respective clubs, as the English club will not buy either of the two players. This news generates different feelings among United fans, since a large part of them wanted the Austrian Marcel Sabitzer to be a permanent player for the club led by Erik Ten Hag. With a total of 18 games played with the English club, Sabitzer knew how to take the place of Casemiro and Fred when necessary. But in the statistics, it seems that he did not contribute much to the club, with only 3 goals and 1 assist in his entire time at the club. On the other hand, there is the case of the Dutch Weghorst, where his loan generated some controversy, since people felt it was necessary to bring in a center forward like Weghorst, having other replacement options, in addition to the possibility of trying new youngsters to future plans.
