Scoring consistently

Considering the amount of talent that Manchester United have going forward, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani up top, as well as other players known for their ability to find the back of the net, like Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes, and it is a massive surprise that they have struggled to find the back of the net on a consistent basis this season.

In fact, things have appeared to take a step back in this department since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, as the Red Devils have struggled to score more than once on a number of occasions under the German coach.

There were hopes that they had taken a step forward in the right direction when they scored 4 goals against Leeds United but that has not turned out to be the case, as Manchester United drew a blank in the very next game, drawing 0-0 against 19th placed Watford.

Thus, it is safe to say that the Red Devils need to start scoring more consistently if they are to end this season on a positive note.

Getting the best out of Ronaldo and Fernandes

Two of Manchester United’s biggest stars right now are Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes. Unfortunately for them though, neither has been at the top of their game this season.

Ronaldo started quite well but his form has completely faded away since then, to the point where there are now question marks about whether he should even be starting for Manchester United anymore.

On the other hand, Fernandes was nothing short of incredible in his first season-and-a-half at Manchester United but has appeared to take a step back since the arrival of Ronaldo.

Thus, if Manchester United are to have a successful season, they will need their two superstars to start playing at their best when they are on the pitch together.
