Defenders, midfielders and forwards
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
It is expected that he will play at right-back, although his recent performances have left a lot to be desired. A good game is required.
Victor Lindelof
If fit, Lindelof should partner Maguire in the heart of the defence. The Swede has been the managers ‘go to’ for filling the void left behind by the injured Raphael Varane.
Harry Maguire
Maguire has shown that he can score goals for the England national team recently but now it’s time to stop opposition attackers from breaching the Manchester United defence.
Luke Shaw
Let’s hope he can shake off a recent knock.
Scott McTominay
He missed the Scotland national team’s matches due to illness but if fit, should return to bolster the Manchester United midfield.
Fred
He would be expected to start in the midfield pivot as well.
Mason Greenwood
Greenwood has been in and out of the starting XI recently but should feature on the right-hand side of the pitch, in a game which could suit the young forward.
Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes has looked out of sorts in recent matches but this could be a great opportunity for him to get back some form as well as his scoring touch.
Marcus Rashford
Rashford has seemed to have gotten over his recent problems and will be looking to cement his place on the left-hand side of the pitch.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo has been a consistent goalscorer for Manchester United ever since returning and is expected to retain his place in the starting XI, as Solskjaer’s side look for a win.
The substitutes’ bench will be full of talent as well with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Edinson Cavani and several others most probably being there, unless Solskjaer decides to give starts to a few of them against Watford.
