Many believe that Brendan Rodgers is the favourite to get the Manchester United job if the club decided to part ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and that is not surprising considering the job that he has done ever since arriving at Leicester City a few years back.

The Foxes have improved in leaps and bounds since he joined the club back in early 2019 from Celtic.

Rodgers has led the club to an FA Cup and a Community Shield already, and they have missed out on a top four spot narrowly in both his full seasons with the club till now.

Thus, there is very little question about Rodgers’ quality as a manager, who also enjoyed a terrific spell at Celtic, turning the Glasgow giants into a Treble winning machine, before making his return to the Premier League.

Now, it remains to be seen if Manchester United do end up making a move for Rodgers. It must be pointed out that rumours have suggested that he is not open to a move to Old Trafford in the middle of the campaign and he has also been linked with an eventual move to Manchester City, as the potential successor to Pep Guardiola.

Graham Potter

Graham Potter has been one of the most highly-rated English managers in the Premier League for a while now. And this season, it looks like it is coming all together for his Brighton & Hove Albion side.

The Seagulls have made a brilliant start to the season and currently find themselves sitting at seventh, only behind Manchester United because of goal difference.

Before joining Brighton & Hove Albion, he had a spell at Swansea City as well, and his sides have been praised for their style of football for a while now.

A move for Potter feels very unlikely at the moment, although he has been linked with the Manchester United job in the recent past.
