Manchester United’s managerial situation has been one of the biggest topics of discussions in football in recent times. After their disappointing start to the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future at the club is pretty much up in the air. And while the Red Devils have stuck with him till now, if things don’t improve, they might need to make a change in the near future.

The club have naturally been linked with some of the most exciting managers in world football like Zinedine Zidane, Erik ten Hag, Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique and others.

There are some managers in the Premier League who could possibly make their mark in the Old Trafford job as well, if given the opportunity.

Now, a few of these moves are very unlikely. Also, we have not taken a look at the managers already at other Big Six clubs.

Bruno Lage might be in his first job as a Premier League manager, but he is already starting to make an impression.

After a difficult start to their campaign under the new manager, Wolverhampton Wanderers have found their rhythm in recent times and have climbed up the Premier League table, currently sitting at eighth.

Wolves did not enjoy a great 2020/21 campaign but now, it appears that things are back on track. Even early on in the season, they had played some good football while not getting the desired results.

The game against Manchester United was the perfect example of that, as the Red Devils were completely outplayed by the Wolves, but they could not take their chances in front of goal.

Lage also has the experience of managing at a club where there is always the expectation of winning, having done so at Benfica in the past.
