With the summer transfer window already in full swing, Manchester United are believed to be set to sign both Tom Heaton and Jadon Sancho soon. While the former is expected to fill the role of a backup goalkeeper, the latter is expected to be one of the biggest stars at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Red Devils are also expected to look for a right-back this summer with not much depth in the position beyond Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the moment. A number of right-backs have been linked with the club in recent months, with Kieran Trippier appearing to lead the line recently.

But with Atletico Madrid under no pressure to let the English international leave, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side might have to keep their options open in case they cannot agree a deal for the 30-year-old.

Could this lead to one of the right-backs already signed with the club getting a chance? As reported by Calciomercato (via TEAMtalk), Manchester United have rejected a proposal from AC Milan to take him on loan for another season with an option to buy this time around.

Could Dalot get another chance at Manchester United?

The 22-year-old Portuguese full-back spent the previous season on loan at AC Milan, but the deal did not have an option to buy included in it. He did have a good campaign though and showed good potential, playing in several positions and contributing to a solid season for the Italian giants.

And it seems like Manchester United could be open to integrating him back into the first-team fold, if they are unable to sign another right-back in the summer.

Apart from AC Milan, Real Madrid are also believed to be keeping an eye on the defender’s situation. As a result, it will be interesting to see where Dalot will play his football next season.
