£50 million Manchester United star could leave in the summer
By Akash Dutta
With only 10 games left in the Premier League season, Manchester United sit 14 points behind Manchester City in the table, although their neighbours have played a game more. Climbing to the top of table after probably having one of the worst starts possible to the season was a brilliant effort from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
But an average run of form after the turn of the year saw them fall behind. And it is clear that there is still a divide when it comes to the squads of the two teams.
As a result, the Red Devils are expected to bring in a few players in the summer. One man who could head the other way though is David de Gea.
Dean Henderson is set to receive a run of games after the Spaniard returned home to be at the birth of his first child. This might be an opportunity for the English keeper to nail down his spot in the team though and that could eventually lead to De Gea’s departure.

Manchester United might be preparing to let De Gea go
As reported by The Sun, Manchester United are reportedly considering a summer exit for De Gea. And to be honest, it is not hard to see why that could be the case.
The 30-year-old currently has a little over two years left on his deal, although there is the option to extend it for another year. At the moment, he is valued at around £50 million.
Unfortunately, the Spaniard has not been at the peak of his powers for quite some time now and if Henderson manages to move ahead of him in the pecking order, could that lead to the Red Devils showing him the exit door after almost a decade at Old Trafford?
His astronomical wages could end up coming in the way of any future deal though as there are not many clubs in the world who can sign De Gea.
