By their own standards, Manchester United have had a rather uneventful transfer window. It has been the complete opposite of last year, when the club signed Bruno Fernandes in January, a move that turned around their fortunes and transformed them into title contenders.
This time though, things have been much quieter around Old Trafford and understandably so, considering the impact that the pandemic has had on the finances of clubs all around the world. As a result, all of United’s transfer business has been surrounding fringe players leaving.
One of those players, who appears to be inching towards an Old Trafford exit is Marcos Rojo. According to Sport Witness, he has been pictured entering Genea medical centre, where he is most probably set to undergo his medicals before completing a move to Argentinian giants Boca Juniors.
Rojo had fallen completely out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and failed to make even a single appearance for the Red Devils this season.

Rojo set to leave Manchester United for Boca Juniors
Rojo had joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon back in 2014 after an impressive World Cup campaign in Brazil, which saw Argentina go all the way to the Final. Unfortunately, he failed to have the impact that the club would have expected of him and was not a regular in the first-team for most of his time at Old Trafford.
Over his seven seasons with the club, he has made 122 appearances for the Red Devils. But only 27 of them have come over the past three-and-a-half seasons, showing how far he has fallen down the pecking order. Despite this, he is highly-rated back in his country and will probably be a prominent feature in the Boca Juniors team.
We would like to thank him for his years of service and wish him the best of luck.
