Manchester United might be coming off back-to-back disappointing results but it is undeniable that the Red Devils have been incredible in the Premier League till now. Not many would have expected them to sit at second at the midway point of the season but that’s where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side find themselves at the moment.
Of course, the league is very tight right now and things can change at any point of time. As a result, the Red Devils cannot afford to relax or they might be in danger of sliding down the table. But on the other hand, there is also the opportunity for them to go back top in case Manchester City slip up.
It is a Premier League race that nobody can afford to take their eyes off. And it might be important for the Red Devils to find some consistency once again if they want to remain in it.
Gary Neville has named three players who are undroppable at the moment. As reported by Manchester Evening News, the club legend said:
"“There’s a couple that have to play, Maguire has to play, Fernandes plays, but the rest of them you can drop without a big drop off. Luke Shaw now, even though Telles has done well.”"

The Manchester United trio have certainly been incredible this season
That is certainly an interesting bunch of players that Neville has chosen. On current form, many would consider Paul Pogba as untouchable. But unfortunately, he does not make the cut for the Manchester United legend.
It does go on to show that how far Harry Maguire has come this season. Earlier, he was being viewed as a flop who the club had wasted a huge amount of money on. But he has managed to turn it around completely and is a genuine leader at the moment.
Luke Shaw has been absolutely magnificent since the arrival of Alex Telles as well while there is not much to say about Bruno Fernandes that has not been said already. Let’s just say that it was his signing last January that acted as the catalyst for United’s recent successes.
