Cristiano Ronaldo appears to drop hint about Manchester United return
By Akash Dutta
Since Mino Raiola’s comments about Paul Pogba’s move away from Manchester United, a lot of rumours have surfaced about his replacement at Old Trafford, with one of them being Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Apart from announcing Pogba’s unhappiness at the club, Raiola also hinted that the Frenchman’s possible future destination could be Juventus, which suggested that a swap deal could be on the cards involving the Portuguese star.
Although neither of the clubs have given any kind of indication about a potential swap deal, it seems that Cristiano Ronaldo has dropped a huge hint on social media regarding a possible move by following Manchester United on Instagram according to the Daily Express.
In modern football, that is something that is often kept an eye on by fans. Quite a few players have followed a club just before moving there.

Could Ronaldo actually return to Manchester United?
Rumours have been flying around about Juventus considering ways to reduce their wage bills due to the financial impact that the global pandemic has had. And Ronaldo is by far the highest earner in the Italian league and a swap deal could be a solution for Pirlo’s side to get him off the books.
Although Ronaldo’s time in Italy has not been disappointing, the club is yet to lift the Champions League title, which Juventus would have been aiming for while signing the Portuguese legend from Real Madrid. Now, it looks like this could end up being his last chance to deliver the trophy to the Turin based side before he has to move once again.
Right now, it would be wise to not get too excited about this as only a follow on Instagram does not solidify the chances of the winger’s return to Old Trafford. It is safe to say that Ronaldo is in the twilight years of his legendary career though and what better place to hang up his boots than where he first made a name for himself.
