Manchester United have made a €55m bid.
Manchester United are prepared to move away from signing Jadon Sancho after baulking at Borussia Dortmund’s unreasonable demands, in what proves to be a sign of major statement from the English club. The German club has refused to budge down on its €120million evaluation for the coveted attacker.
Learning from their exorbitant mistakes in past transfer windows, the United hierarchy is reticent to kowtow to the upscale demands of the selling party. There has been an evident pattern in Man United’s negotiating process- where they remain dormant in discussions before sanctioning the funds- to execute transfers.
As things stand, Jadon Sancho is keen to join Manchester United after reaching an agreement on personal terms with the English club. However, the structure of transfer fees- purportedly being €70m+€30m+€20m- is yet to be agreed by Der BVB.

Sensing a deadlock, Manchester United are prepared to press ahead with alternatives with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer determined to add a right-sided forward in his squad. Having monitored the player previously, Reds have approached Italy international Federico Chiesa.
With Fiorentina open to listening offers for their attacking asset, Manchester United have made an official bid worth €55m for Federico Chiesa, as per reports from La Nazione via Football Italia. The 22-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in European football.
Previously, Chiesa has attracted interest Inter Milan and Juventus. Additionally, the Italian youngster has been keen on continuing his progress in Serie A. However, there is no clarity around whether there has been any change in the 22-year-old’s stance while choosing his future project.
Until now, there have been zero reports emerging from England where United’s interest in Chiesa has had a mention. Whether this story holds any credibility or not, but it surely displays the intent of the club who is now refusing to be bullied by selling clubs in the transfer market.
