According to the latest reports Manchester United may struggle to offload Alexis Sanchez in the summer transfer window because of this huge demand.
When Alexis Sanchez arrived at Manchester United he was regarded as the club’s saviour. United fans all over the globe rejoiced. The Gunners’ star man had been considered as one of the best players in the Premier League at the time.
Alexis Sanchez could slalom past players with ease and when he cut inside onto his favoured foot and unleashed an effort on goal, the result would usually be with the ball thumping into the back of the net.
Alexis Sanchez scored a total of 80 goals in 166 games for Arsenal. Those sort of numbers made the Red Devils fans’ mouth water.

For years Cristiano Ronaldo had left a void at Old Trafford. But Alex Sanchez was regarded as the man to fill it.
Sanchez would be the man took take the club back to their former glory days. The man to lead United back to the pinnacle of the game.
In the end it would be the Arsenal fans who would have the last laugh.
Alexis Sanchez was a shadow of himself at Old Trafford. The Chilean struggled to fit into Jose Mourinho’s rigid defensive structure and he could never hit the numbers the fans had been accustomed to seeing from him at the Emirates.
After two below par seasons, Alexis Sanchez was shipped to Inter Milan on loan for the current campaign. It was hoped that Sanchez would be able to rekindle his previous form however the Chilean calamitously failed.
And with Inter unlikely to make his switch permanent and United reluctant to keep him at Old Trafford, the expectation is that Alexis Sanchez will leave for pastures new in the summer.
However according to a recent report United may struggle to offload the Chilean.
ESPN via Manchester Evening News claims that Alexis Sanchez will not take a pay-cut to leave United.
Sanchez is on hefty wages at the moment and there are few teams in world football who could afford to pay him the money he is demanding.
That means United may be forced to keep their current flop.
