Manchester United dealt a shock transfer blow ahead of the summer
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United have been given a surprising blow in their pursuit of a target who has been linked with the Red Devils on numerous occasions.
With the football temporary on hold, Manchester United will surely focus their attention elsewhere. Their eyes will be on the upcoming summer transfer window and potential candidates to bring to Old Trafford.
Last summer’s transfer window, despite some key signings, was ultimately a disappointing period for the club. The Red Devils allowed a lot of key players to depart Old Trafford without adequately replacing them.
It is a mistake Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to avoid this time around.

The club have to ensure they get this summer right. It is imperative if the Red Devils aspire to return to their glory days.
One of the focal points of the summer will be bringing in the right calibre of players in order to bolster their squad.
Solskjaer’s team is still short of world class players and he will need heavy investment if he is to catch up with rivals, Liverpool and Manchester City.
One player who could be perfect for the Red Devils is Paulo Dybala. The diminutive Argentinian forward is regarded as one of the best in the world.
This season, Dybala has formed a formidable partnership with former Red Devils favourite, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recently the Argentinian admitted that he was close to leaving Juventus last summer and signing for United, but in the end the move never materialised.
Paulo Dybala was forced to stay in Turin and fight for his place.
But he did not wallow in disappointment, Dybala got to work and his hard work paid off in the end. Playing in an attacking midfield role Paulo Dybala has scored a total of 13 goals in 34 matches for Juventus.
Whilst already impressive, with Bruno Fernandes supplying Dybala, his numbers could improve astronomically.
Unfortunately we may never find out as it seems United will struggle to arrange a deal for Paulo Dybala this summer.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato via the Daily Star, Paulo Dybala is expected to be offered a new deal at his current club with a complicated three part clause that could thwart his departure.
Of course Paulo Dybala would be a great signing, however he doesn’t appear to be the primary target for the the Red Devils.
As the popular adage goes: there are plenty more fish left in the sea.
Will United regret missing out on Paulo Dybala?
