Manchester United: Solskjaer finally allows star to depart club

The Manchester United boss is set to allow one of the club’s key players to depart on loan in the January transfer window.
Old Trafford has been rife with the news of exciting arrivals soon to be donning the Red Devils shirt, however it seems Manchester United may also have to say goodbye to some of the club’s current stars.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to have a busy last couple of days in the transfer window. After quite an appalling month with little progress and failed attempts at attaining signings things have started to pick up for the Norwegian.
First the news broke about the Red Devils finally brokering a deal to bring Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford after it had seemed to collapse. The Portuguese will now become the fourth player to join Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon. Now it seems there may also be one player on his way out of Old Trafford.
Some of the former United players who have played for Sporting include club legend Cristiano Ronaldo who joined the Red Devils from the Portuguese club and cult hero Nani who followed suit after his compatriot and became a vital member of the squad for years at Old Trafford.
Perhaps a less successful signing from Sporting has been the acquisition of Marcos Rojo. The Argentine centre back arrived with a lot of hope and expectation in 2014 and was dubbed as one of the most exciting young defenders in Europe.
However Marcos Rojo never managed to settle in Old Trafford. The Argentine couldn’t quite get to grips with the fast and combative style of English football and he was often exposed for his weaknesses whilst playing in the Premier League.
Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he became an increasingly fringe player and hardly got any game time especially since the start of the new season.
And it seems Marco Rojo has at last been allowed to leave the club. According to the BBC the United defender will join his boyhood club Estudiantes on loan until the end of the season.
What do you think did United make the right decision letting Marcos Rojo leave?
