It seems Manchester United have finally identified the man to replace Paul Pogba and he could be lining up for the Red Devils soon.

The grace. The elegance. The perfectly weighted passes and the defence splitting long balls. Manchester United have experienced all the skill and flamboyance which comes with Paul Pogba’s majestic talent.

The Red Devils were already aware of Paul Pogba’s talent prior to his arrival in the summer of 2016. After all, Pogba honed his skills in the club’s academy and made his professional debut with Manchester United.

And while things have not clicked into gear completely. The flashes and moments of genius have been present on the pitch.

Often times when Paul Pogba was in fine form he would have a transformative effect on the team. His passing range and his ability to unlock defences have been the winning formula for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Yet Pogba has faced an extensive period on the sidelines and it is set to continue. There is not even a guarantee that he will stay at Old Trafford long term with many suitors vying for the Frenchman’s services.

Without Paul Pogba, results have suffered on the pitch for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and it is evident he needs a change. He needs someone to replace Paul Pogba at least even temporarily.

The Red Devils boss’ attempts have failed in the transfer market thus far. With Manchester United set to miss out on Bruno Fernandes it seems the club will have to turn elsewhere.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a plan.

At Carrington plying his trade in the club’s academy, the Norwegian has spotted a player who is of the same ilk as Paul Pogba.

His name is Hannibal Mejbri. Just like Paul Pogba he hails from France and he moved to Old Trafford as a young kid. But the similarities do not end there. Hannibal Mejbri has the same uncanny ability to unlock defences and has that elegance and swagger about him on the ball. He has been impressing at U23 level for the Red Devils despite being just 17 years old and according to Manchester Evening News the club are considering to ‘fast track’ his development. That means Hannibal Mejbri could be given a chance in the first team very soon.
