The 2018/19 season has been a breakthrough one for Tahith Chong, who was rewarded with some first-team action after a number of impressive performances for the under-23s.
He made 23 appearances in the Premier League 2 and UEFA Youth League scoring eight goals, joint top of the charts with Angel Gomes, and registering three assists.
After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the reins from Jose Mourinho, Chong’s chances in the first-team became a lot more probable and he made his senior debut in the FA Cup third-round tie against Reading at Old Trafford.
