Denis Law

Denis Law is a Manchester United legend. The Scotsman played for the club for 11 years from 1962 to 1973 and was a clinical goalscorer.

He was a fans favourite in no time after scoring six goals in Manchester United’s 1963 FACup-winning campaign. Top goalscorer in the league the following season with 30 goals in 42 games was enough to clinch second spot, scoring 46 in all competitions.

He won the league with United the following season and in 67 but was injured for the famous European Cup win over Benfica in 1968. However, Sir Matt Busby ensured Law was not to miss out on getting a glimpse of the trophy as the then United manager brought the cup to his bedside.
