Can Paul Pogba maintain good form?

Paul Pogba’s performances in the 2017/18 season have proved to be erratic. Furthermore, Pogba’s form at the moment comes as good news for Manchester United.
According to Manchester United’s instagram page, Pogba’s impressive run of form earned him the “Player of the Month” award for the month of April. Given the effort the Frenchman put into April’s fixtures, Pogba is deserving of the award.
Additionally, the month of April saw Pogba take an active role in United’s success in the Premier League. For instance, United played Manchester City early in the month. Because of Pogba, with the help of Alexis Sanchez, Pogba was able to hand City a loss. While United looked to be the loser of that battle, they came out on top.
In the month of April, Pogba played a total of five matches. Among those five matches, the French national team player earned two man of the match awards. In addition to his match honors, Pogba provided three goals, as well as two assists. Manchester United had a successful month of April, and Pogba may be the reason why.
Even though his performances for this season are inconsistent, an in form Paul Pogba is nothing to play with.
When Pogba takes the field when in-form, he demands respect from the opposition. His physical presence in the midfield proves difficult to deal with. He can dribble with the ball, while shaking his opponents off of him.
In addition to his physical presence, Pogba also is a great passer of the ball. While he does not have the ball, he advances into threatening positions, and sometimes he ends up finding the back of the net. Going into the West Ham match, Pogba must channel his form because it could win the match for Manchester United.
West Ham’s defense is poor, allowing twenty-two more goals than they scored. With that being said, Pogba, as well as other Red Devils, can capitalize on a weak defense.

As the season winds down, it appears as it Pogba is finding the form that United needed at the start of the season. Perhaps, the French player can have a successful off season, and he can come into next season in the same form he is in now.
