3. Cristiano Ronaldo free kick goal vs Portsmouth (2008)

For Manchester United fans, Ronaldo is the one that got away. Additionally, there are no shortage of fond memories of the Portuguese winger to long term United fans.

Furthermore, Ronaldo’s world class free kick finds the net with ease. The kick comes from a long way out, but the knuckle on the ball proves to be too much for the goalkeeper. 2008 saw the departure of Ronaldo, but his actions at Old Trafford will go down in history.
