Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo joined several other Manchester United players in enjoying some downtime after their pre-season tour of the USA with a trip to a Drake concert on Tuesday night.
The Canadian rapper performed at indoor arena Co-op Live in Manchester and it's the latest hint that Ruben Amorim has succeeded in building a family environment within the squad.
The Red Devils had participated in the Premier League Summer Series in America, winning the competition. They beat West Ham 2-1, Bournemouth 4-1 and drew 1-1 with Everton as they prepared for the 2025-26 season.
Man United stars in attendance for Drake's concert

Drake is touring the UK after performing for three nights at Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, London. The 'Hotline Bling' rapper once famously wore a United shirt before being snapped donning those of rivals such as Chelsea and Manchester City.
Fernandes and Mbeumo posed for a snap posted on Luxury Concierge & Management company Saints VIP's Instagram account. They were two of many United players in attendance, with Manuel Ugarte, Joshua Zirkzee, Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro also present.
It was a difficult past season for the Reds who faltered domestically, finishing 15th in the league, their worst-ever league campaign. They also suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, spurning the chance to qualify for the Champions League.
That said, the mood amongst Amorim's camp during pre-season has been a positive one, especially following the arrivals of Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. The fact that the former is already heading on nights out with his teammates bodes well when it comes to team bonding.
Drake's tour "Some Special Shows 4 U" is co-headlined by Canadian singer-songwriter PartyNextDoor. The pair released a collaborative album earlier this year titled "Some Sexy Songs 4 U".
Amorim will be hoping his plan is also "God's Plan" as Drizzy would put it and that he propels the Reds up the table next season. It's looking increasingly likely that potential signing Benjamin Sesko will be leading the line alongside Cunha and Mbeumo.
Ruben Amorim is starting from the bottom similarly to his Sporting CP success

Amorim has spoken of his desire to be in charge of United for the long-haul, in fact, suggesting he could spend over a decade at Old Trafford. He was a huge success at previous club Sporting CP guiding them out of turmoil and transforming them into Liga Portugal champions.
The Portuguese coach told reporters (via The Telegraph):
“At Sporting it was the same thing. They said that in three months I’m out. They said that I had a three per cent chance of winning the title with Sporting. I know that the pressure is different [at United].
“But I don’t like to change clubs. I like to bond with people and carry on. I know it sounds crazy but I chose this club. I had the feeling and I just want to bond, to be part of it and I will stay here.”
Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag last November and oversaw a frustrating second half of the season. But this may be part of his plan to root out all the issues, including problem players such as Alejandro Garnacho, before restoring the club's glory days.
