We really hope Omar Berrada knows what he's doing here. For what feels like months now, Manchester United has been trying to offload players who don't appear to have a future with the club. As you might have been able to guess, Marcus Rashford is on the list right now.
Let us make one thing perfectly clear - we've got nothing but love for Rashy. He gave his all to the club and he's provided MUFC with some incredible memories over the years. At this point, though, it just feels like it's time for the two sides to move on.
However, United is looking for 40 million pounds for him, but Aston Villa decided not to trigger the buy option for the speedster. Rashford's future is unknown, as another loan could be on the way. What about Rasmus Hojlund too? He's been mentioned as someone who might make an exit and Inter had early interest. However, it seems like that interest has faded away:
NEW: Man Utd's hopes of selling Rasmus Hojlund to Inter Milan on a permanent basis have suffered a blow 📉

Man United may be stuck with Rasmus Hojlund for next season
The preference is of course to sell Hojlund, but who's going to put 40-50 million pounds on the table for him? Hojlund was expected to be a stud for Man United when he was brought in by Erik Ten Hag, but he has never lived up to the hype.
A season-long loan could be on the way, but United needs to offload players if it wants to be active in the transfer market with new standouts for the starting 11. In a dream world, Viktor Gyokeres would take over as the starting striker for the club, but he's not going to come cheap.
Rashford might end up being loaned out too, unless United brings down its demands. The same is likely going to have to be the case for Hojlund. The more time that passes by, the more nervous people are going to be about no business getting completed.
Last season was a complete and total nightmare for MUFC, with the team finishing in the bottom half of the table. There are zero excuses for this to ever happen. The board must be aggressive and conduct smart moves before the season arrives. Gambling with how they manage potential Rashford and Hojlund transfers is the last thing the club's supporters want to be seeing right now.
