Manchester United fans are hitting out at one of Ruben Amorim's 'bomb squad' after he turned down an exit to wait out a desired move elsewhere.
There are five players who have been left out of United's pre-season tour of the USA: Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia. They were all omitted from Amorim's squad that travelled because their futures were thought to lie away from the club.
Rashford is the only one to have made a move thus far, joining Barcelona on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal. The other outcasts are studying their options but one had the chance to seal a switch.
Antony turns down move to Saudi Arabia
Spanish journalist Mateo Gonzalez (via UtdXclusive) reports that Antony has rejected a move to Saudi Arabia because he's waiting to see if United will be forced to accept another loan proposal from Real Betis.

The Brazilian spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis where he re-found form after a nightmare spell at Old Trafford. The problem is that the Spanish outfit haven't got the funds required to sign him on a permanent deal.
Antony is prepared to reject offers from other clubs to seal a return but at the expense of the Red Devils agreeing on another loan. This hasn't gone down well with fans who think INEOS should instead send him to the reserves.
Fans hit out at Antony over transfer decision

The United fanbase are growing tired of the situation regarding trying to offload the likes of Antony and Garnacho, the latter who wants Chelsea but they don't want to pay the club's valuation.
Many of the Old Trafford faithful are asking for the Brazil international to be send to train with the U21 team should he continue to turn down opportunities to leave permanently.
One fan wrote:
"I won’t be surprised to see Antony playing for the Under-21s this season. Betis aren’t ready to buy him, and he keeps rejecting offers from other clubs. The World Cup is coming, unless he’s not interested in playing like our “freedom fighter.”
Another was even more furious:
"He can stay as a back up left wing back to Dorgu and Leon if that’s the case. F**k his World Cup dream up."
One supporter echoed this:
"Nope, he can rot in the reserves then. Stop taking the piss."
Antony joined United from Ajax in the summer of 2022 for £82m and he's endured a difficult time with the club. He has appeared 96 times across competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.
