Rio Ferdinand has named Bruno Fernandes as one of only four Manchester United players who are good enough to make Manchester City's team. The two Manchester rivals go to war this Sunday (September 14) in the Manchester derby at the Etihad.
Ruben Amorim's biggest win since becoming United head coach arguably came away to City in a 2-1 comeback win. Everyone will remember Amad's late winner as the Reds piled more misery on a poorly performing Pep Guardiola side.
Amad is surprisingly not one of the four players who Ferdinand views good enough for the noisy neighbours. He does think there are two attackers who could thrive in Sky Blue.
Rio Ferdinand names four Man Utd stars good enough for City

Ferdinand spoke ahead of the derby and gave an honest assessment of Amorim's current squad who have made a concerning start to the season. He said (via Chris Wheeler of Mail Sport) regarding who could make City's team:
"Bruno, I put Leny Yoro in there. I think he is going to be a standout this year."
It's good to see Ferdinand back Leny Yoro given the French defender has been faultless since that torrid night against Southampton in January. The 19-year-old is one for the future but also making a name for himself with incredible performances at the back.
Fernandes was always going to be included as he has been a world-class performer in perhaps the worst United team in history. He even earned the respect of rival fans last season because of his consistency and tireless work ethic
Ferdinand added:
"Mbeumo probably gets in there now. Cunha might have a chance."

United forked out £71m to bring Bryan Mbeumo to Old Trafford earlier this summer and the Cameroonian looked the real deal in the 3-2 win over Burnley before the international break. He netted his first of what is hopefully many goals for the club.
Matheus Cunha also arrived in the summer for £62.5m and Ferdinand has already waxed lyrical about the Brazilian attacker. He will unfortunately miss the Manchester derby with an injury.
Ferdinand concluded:
"At the moment City have got a better squad than us. I think that's a fact. I don't think many people would argue with that. That's just the way it is at the moment."
Those comments should hopefully spur Amorim's crop on to try and prove their worth at the Etihad on Sunday. A win would be massive for both the Portuguese tactician who remains under pressure and his underperforming squad.
