Predictions and Q & A with Rush The Kop:

Ahead of this weekend, we sat down with fellow Fansided network Rush The Kop’s Site Expert Joseph Copeland, who answered a few questions relating to the game:

Q: Wait were your thoughts on United’s last defeat vs Chelsea?

A: Man Utd were the better side for the majority of proceedings. The Cucurella penalty was soft at best. It was good theater but the only true quality goal came from the Antony pass. Bad luck for the deflected winner.

Q: Which Manchester United player poses the biggest threat to Liverpool in the way of victory?

A: Bruno Fernandes can still win a game on his own. His mentality is questionable at times but the class is permanent.

Q: In the last fixture between the sides not too long ago, United ran out as winners in a 4-3 win, dumping Liverpool out of the FA Cup. Are you worried that this will happen again or is the Premier League a different slice of bread for Liverpool?

A: I think the FA Cup match was just that, cup magic. It is not often that Liverpool let leads like that go so close to finish. It was a perfect storm of Chaos. Fair play to United for pushing until the end. The crowd support will be massive for them, so it's always possible for them to get a result. However, I think Liverpool are on a mission in the Premier League.

Q: Speaking of Jurgen Klopp, this will be his final game in this fixture. What are your best and worst highlights vs United under him?

A: The best in this fixture is of course the 7-0 win. That was just a magical day that does not come around very often. The worst would be the FA Cup defeat in 2021 or this past QF. Both were gut punches in different ways.

Q: Finally, your score prediction?

A: Score prediction for Sunday...2-1 to Liverpool.

Thank you to Joseph for speaking with us. You can catch the game on Sunday in the UK on Sky Sports, or on NBC Sport/fuboTV in USA.
