Manchester United have spent a considerable amount of time moping around from their 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on December 30.

After the game, Erik Ten Hag vowed to put things right. Lucky for him, the next fixture is against a side two divisions below the Red Devils.

With the Dutchman under much pressure, it would probably be expected not to expect a great deal of rotation as one would have hoped when this tie was drawn. The FA Cup is the only shot at silverware that United have this season, so will be hoping to hit the ground running in style, albeit against a former winner of the FA Cup.

Here is the expected lineup for the clash:

André Onana should be available for two more games after United successfully negotiating his stay before he departs for AFCON.

Diogo Dalot could be one of the regulars who features as a key attacking threat.

Willy Kambwala has featured recently and could be in line for a start if Jonny Evans is rested and made ready for the weekend clash.

Raphael Varane could spearhead the defence with his experience as the only available and regular LCB in the squad as of late.

Luke Shaw should start given that Tyrell Malacia is not yet ready and Sergio Reguilon has returned to Spurs.

Kobbie Mainoo is expected to start and would be the most likeliest youngster to feature in the team.

Hannibal Mejbri may go out on loan this month, but a start against Wigan would aid suitors and give him a rare start in United colours.

Bruno Fernandes rarely misses a game and should expect to captain the side in this away fixture.

Amad Diallo returned to the side from a long-term injury against Nottingham Forest with a good cameo. He should start the game to showcase the depth he can bring to the right hand side in 2024.

Rasmus Højlund missed the Forest defeat with an illness, but should be raring to go and could be the perfect fixture to build his confidence with a goal or two.

Marcus Rashford is playing his best football of the season thus far, so his momentum should carry forward into this game.

Expected lineup - Onana - Dalot, Kambwala, Varane, Shaw - Mainoo, Hannibal, Bruno - Amad, Højlund, Rashford.
