While Manchester United fans patiently await an agreement with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo, the team has quietly moved on from several players.
The calendar turning from June to July is a notable moment in the transfer window, as contracts finally expire, loans end, and it becomes easier to plan financially for the new cycle.
Ruben Amorim is rebuilding United's squad piece by piece after a disappointing 15th-placed finish, and nine players have now officially walked out the door.
From the senior squad, the club says goodbye to Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof, whose contracts have expired. Jonny Evans is the other whose playing contract ran down, but he will remain with the club. Evans won't play for United again, but the team announced they have appointed him as their head of loans and pathways.
Six academy players have also left the club: Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan, and Tom Wooster.

With July finally here, it also means that players loaned out by United will now return to the club, including Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho. Both have uncertain futures at Old Trafford. Rashford and Sancho have received reported interest from other clubs in Europe, but their high wages remain an issue.
United must find a way to move on from several players, including Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho, to generate transfer fees that can be reinvested in the squad. Rashford's situation is less clear, with some hoping he stays and fights for his place.
Time will tell, but changes keep coming at Old Trafford. Multiple players have now officially left the club, and more departures will likely follow.
