Brentford have just struck a deal to sign Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord, which opens the door for Bryan Mbeumo to join Man United.

Of course, Man United fans won't want to fall into the trap of accepting a transfer that hasn't happened yet as gospel. Too often in the past, Man United fans have been dishearted by transfers not going the way they would have wanted.

However, something about the Bryan Mbeumo deal just seems different. It's not to the point where United fans should drop a wad of cash on his printed jersey but.... It's getting to that point.

Brentford sign Antoni Milambo

According to a new report from Fabrizio Romano, Brentford have seemingly got the ball rolling on their Bryan Mbeumo replacement. The Italian journalist has applied his signature "Here We Go" label on Antoni Milambo to Brentford.

For a bit of background on Milambo, he's essentially Mbeumo's doppelganger. His strongest position is just behind the striker, but he can also play on the right.

Sure does seem like a coincidence that Brentford are signing a player like this, with Bryan Mbeumo having one foot out the exit door. While reading between the lines, Man United fans should definitely take this as a positive sign that Mbeumo is Manchester-bound.

Bryan Mbeumo is now Man United bound

Yeah, Man United might be clutching at straws, but if you give Man United fans an inch, they'll take a mile. This is how desperate the Old Trafford faithful is to watch Mbeumo tear up the attack next season.

And with good reason, too. Mbeumo is one of the most exciting players in the Premier League. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge from working under Thomas Frank. He also brings a burning desire to achieve, after working with his Brentford teammates who shot for more than they were projected.

This fine-tune blend of technical ability and desire to overachieve is exactly what Man United needs right now. Fans hope that Mbeumo's arrival will impact not only the playing field, but the dressing room too.
