Gabby Agbonlahor thinks Manchester United missed out on a Premier League attacker who is better than both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. The former Aston Villa forward made a bold claim amid one of the biggest transfers of the summer.
Mbeumo joined United in July after a month of negotiations between the club and Brentford. A £71m (including add-ons) deal was eventually agreed and the Cameroonian got his desired move to Old Trafford.
Cunha arrived at the very start of the summer transfer window after the Reds triggered the £62.5m release clause in his Wolves contract. The Brazilian, like Mbeumo, prioritised joining Ruben Amorim's side.
Those two acquistions were seen as possible gamechanging signings for Amorim. But Agbonlahor thinks Arsenal are signing an even better player.
Agbonlahor makes bold claim over Mbeumo & Cunha

Agbonlahor was speaking on talkSPORT about Eberechi Eze's move to Arsenal from Crystal Palace. The Englishman had been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur but opted to join the Gunners in a £67.5m deal.
The 27-year-old was excellent for Palace last season and a key man in Oliver Glasner's side's FA Cup triumph. He has been hyped up by Agbonlahor as the signing that takes Mikel Arteta's North Londoners to the Premier League title:
“I’m seeing Mbeumo & Cunha get these moves, he’s better than all of them. For me, it’s going to be an outstanding signing for Arsenal & I believe this wins Arsenal the Premier League.”
👏 "He’s an outstanding player!"

That's some statement from the former Villa man given how prolific Mbeumo and Cunha were last season. The Cameroonian bagged 20 goals in 38 league games while the Brazilian managed 15 in 33.
Is Eze better than Mbeumo and Cunha?

Eze is a slick playmaker who can open teams up with his clever movement and dribbling abilities. He registered eight goals and as many assists in 34 league games last season.
But surely most Premier League fans would rather Mbeumo or Cunha, two forwards who were in last season's Golden Boot race and have been undisputed starters at international level. It's an interesting debate as all three are among the most highly-admired forwards in English football.
If you ask us who is on top we are siding with Cunha as he can steal the show with a moment of magic out of nothing. He warranted a goal on his competitive debut in the defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford.
