Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United – What you need to know
Manchester United travel to London for their first away fixture of the Premier League season, as they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening (BST).
United will hoping for back to back wins after their narrowly undeserved 1-0 win against Wolves on Monday.
The Red Devils take on Spurs, now managed by Ange Postecoglu. They started their season last weekend with a 2-2 draw against Brentford, showing good signs of their attacking intent – their first game without talisman Harry Kane.
Defensively, they could be quite the opposite this season. United will hope to capitalise on that early, and test the waters with Spurs’ potential vulnerabilities as they adjust to life with a new manager and without their biggest star of recent years.
Manchester United injury news:
United will be without Rasmus Højlund (back), Kobbie Mainoo (ankle), Tyrell Malacia (muscle), Tom Heaton (calf) and Amad Diallo (knee). Lisandro Martinez (ankle) is back in training, and may be available to start.
Where to watch:
Manchester United vs Wolves will be broadcasted live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event and on fuboTV in the US.
Predicted Manchester United lineup:
Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Lisandro, Shaw; Casemiro, Bruno, Mount; Antony, Rashford, Sancho.
