Breaking down which players Erik Ten Haag should keep/sell
Erik Ten Haag has important incomings and outgoings this window based on last season’s performances, so let’s take a look at which players Manchester should keep at Old Trafford, and who the red devils should sell.
Diogo Dalot – Keep
Made his mark ahead of Wan Bissaka, good string of performances but has faded into rotation over the past few months.
Lisandro Martinez – Keep
The Argentinian has been a colossus at the back, bar that one dreadful display at Anfield, Martinez has demonstrated the potential to be a star in the back for years to come.
Raphael Varane – Keep
A consistent performer when fit, Varane has shown the tendencies of what we signed him for.. certainly set the bar of calibre we need to compete.
Luke Shaw – Keep
Operating at both CB and LB, Shaw has filled the void for both positions when needed, not only that but matured into a certain starter when injury free.
Casemiro – Keep
Would certainly be in double figures if it wasn’t for disciplinary issues. Missing out on key games cost United, but when he was fit the security in midfield was as good as I’ve seen in a decade.
Christian Eriksen – Keep
A deep lying playmaker has been an enigma in the red side of Manchester, but Eriksen has slotted in and given a different outlet for United and helped a fresh style unfold at OT
Bruno Fernandes – Keep
Bruno would be the first to give himself a discredit this season. Stats suggest he’s performing at his peak, but the fan favourite has endured some tricky spells this season.. however, an out-and-out striker in his sights next season will give a boost sure.
Marcus Rashford – Keep
Would certainly be 9+ without the injuries, but compared to the previous 2 years Rashford has developed immensely with his contributions
Antony – Keep
Certainly a slow burner, but the Brazilian winger seems to have the bit between his teeth.. next season will be a good indicator
Fred – 6.5
For some a popular figure for the Red Devils, with a handful of semi-decent performances, but the ability of Casemiro and Eriksen have perhaps tainted his importance in the squad.
Substitutes
Alejandro Garnacho – Keep
19 years old and showed glimpses of being special, time will tell.
Jadon Sancho – Sell
Another mediocre at best season, lack of consistent game time and did not hit any fresh form.
Tyrell Malacia – Keep
Some good outings especially at the start of the season, drifted in and out with no real problems.
Victor Lindelof – Keep
Stepped up when needed due to injuries, the Swede has made a more than impressive impact in the latter stages.
Harry Maguire – Sell
Confidence shattered due to lack of game time, Maguire had endured a tricky few seasons.. departure is certainly imminent.

With David De Gea and Wout Weghorst out of the club already, Erik Ten Haag will certainly be looking to add further numbers to the squad, so the coming weeks will be exciting for sure for Manchester United fans.
