Recent reports have linked Manchester United with a potential move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane. The 27-year-old has had an impressive season with the German club, scoring 13 goals and providing 8 assists in all competitions.

According to Defensa Central, the Munich giants has yet to open contract negotiations with Sane, whose contract runs until the summer of 2025. The German club could be willing to cash in on the winger at the end of the season, making him an attractive target for top European clubs such as Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Sane’s prior experience in the Premier League with Manchester City makes him an intriguing option for the Red Devils. The winger possesses a skill set that would significantly improve United’s attacking options, as he is capable of playing on either flank and adding pace, flair, and goals to the team.

United’s over-reliance on Marcus Rashford has been evident this season, and the club is in need of additional attacking options to compete for the league title and the Champions League. Sane could be the answer, potentially replacing players such as Anthony Martial, who has been linked with a move away from the club in the summer.

While United has signed wingers such as Antony and Jadon Sancho in recent seasons, neither player has lived up to expectations. Sane’s proven ability at the highest level would make him an instant impact player at Old Trafford next season.

However, United would face stiff competition for Sane’s services, with Real Madrid also said to be interested in the German international. It remains to be seen if Sane is willing to return to the Premier League, but a move to United would undoubtedly be a significant boost to the team’s chances of success in the upcoming season.
