With the start of the Under-20 World Cup that has Argentina as the country host for this event, many United fans are worried that their young superstar, Alejandro Garnacho, will leave to dispute the competition with his national country.

Although, in the last hour, the Red Devils have confirmed that they will not let Garnacho leave because they need him here at United not only to recuperate from his injury but also for the last months of the season.

On the other hand, Javier Mascherano, head coach of the Under-20 national team, will do anything he can to have Alejandro on his team, as he considers him crucial for his plan in search of becoming champions of the tournament.

How long until Garnacho is back at training?

Garnacho’s injury happened on the 12 of March during a Premier League match, against Southhampton after a hard entry from one of the rivals. After the medical exam, it was known that he was going to be out for 6 weeks. The good side of this story is that in less than two weeks, the young winger should be back in training with his team and preparing for the end of the season.

Why United won’t let him go with his national team?

The reasons that he is not going to leave are that the tournament, starts on the 20th of May and the final is on the 11 of June of this year, therefore the Argentinian winger would have recently returned from his injury, and Manchester United would not risk him being injured again during the tournament, which is why they will not loan him out to the Argentine team, but rather stay in England working and improving his physical recovery.

Also, Erik Ten Hag, counts with the young player for the last games of the club this season, because he is very important for his plan to reach the Champions League next season.
