Summer is only a few months ahead, and the transfer window is no doubt going to be as exciting as always, with Erik ten Hag having his first full window in charge of Manchester United.

Manchester United have a pretty poor success rate with transfers over the years, and the fans have become increasingly irate with the money being spent not matching the outcome on the pitch. So could these 3 signings make the difference?

Lois Openda

A fast, agile forward with the makings to be a problem against any defence, the young Belgian has been flying for Lens this season, with 15 goals to his name and at only 23 the sky could be the limit. The interest in Openda is silent at this stage in the season, but a 20-30m fee could be a steal for the red devils.

Orkun Kokcu

A player who over the weeks has had a bit more traction, Kokcu is currently going through the form of his life out in Holland. The Turkish international has been instrumental in Feyenoord’s tremendous season, contributing to 10 goals in the Eredivisie, and also starring in their Europa League campaign. Operating in a 433 and dictating play, whilst also contributing to both defence and attack, its hard not to look past Kokcu.

Antonio Silva

A breakthrough star through the Benfica ranks, Silva has come into his own this season, combined with a feature at the world cup for Portugal.. Silva has a mature head on his shoulders, and is following the blueprint of potentially becoming a world-class defender, so United need to jump the queue and get Silva in their ranks.
