Alejandro Garnacho- Foot injury (Back before season end)

Manchester United injuries list was already long enough before the Sevilla game. Alejandro Garnacho sustained a serious injury in a game against Southampton on March 12 and has missed all games since then.

However, Erik ten Hag recently revealed that the teenager will also be back at the business end of the season. Already out a month, Garnacho will have added motivation to return stronger as United are still competing for glory in three competitions.

Luke Shaw – Thigh injury (Expected to feature against Sevilla in 2nd leg)

There is better news on Luke Shaw’s front. With United already down to bare bones in the defensive department now, Shaw’s return can’t come soon enough.

Fortunately, the manager has revealed that Shaw’s injury is better than earlier feared. He is expected to be back at short notice.

An appearance against Nottingham Forest on the weekend is an optimistic scenario. If not then, then expect him to definitely feature against Sevilla in the second leg after he missed the first one.

Besides these names, long-term absentees include Donny van de Beek, who is trying to step up his recovery after a serious knee injury ruled him out for the season.

Scott McTominay had a minor knock which forced him to miss the Sevilla game but he’s expected to recover in time for Nottingham Forest.
