Manchester United fans attending in person the Carabao Cup final at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday are in for a delight. Man United have decided to provide their fans with a limited-edition scarf to mark Erik Ten Hag’s contribution to rejuvenating the team and playing a part in the club securing mid-season silverware.

"“Fans will find their red and white scarves on their seats when they arrive in the stadium for the first final that Manchester United have appeared in since the FA Cup final in 2018.” – read the official statement from Manchester United website."

The scarves will also serve as a souvenir for the fans who will be in treat to a massive game of football as United go hunting to prove their revival with a trophy this season. Erik Ten Hag has made an immediate impact since his appointment at the start of the season. While they have slipped sometimes, The Reds are no longer the team which could be bullied by any team in the league. From the drubbing by Brighton and Brentford, United have changed a lot from the first part of the season. They are now five points off league leaders Arsenal and will now challenge Newcastle United for the Carabao Cup.

The official statement also conveyed the words of Mr. Rick McGagh, head of Fan Engagement for Manchester United:

"“Our fans have been brilliant again this season and we saw on Thursday night against Barcelona the role they play in inspiring the team and helping us get over the line in tight games.“The manager and players really value and appreciate their support, so we wanted to take the opportunity to recognise our fans and to reward them with something special at Wembley.“Hopefully these scarves will provide a lasting momento of another great day in our club’s history as we look to win our first trophy under Erik. We hope the 33,000 fans making the trip to Wembley, and all our supporters watching across the world, have a great day on Sunday.”"
