Despite increased playtime in recent matches, defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is strongly considering leaving Manchester United this summer.

United boss Erik ten Hag is in the market for a new right-back despite having two great options in Diogo Dalot and Wan-Bissaka. Dalot’s injury during his time with the Portuguese squad in the World Cup gave the English international opportunity to resurge under the Dutch boss.

The lack of options meant that the 25-year-old made 12 straight appearances for the Premier League giants but it also meant that Ten Hag was exploring the market for a new signing.

Both Dalot and Wan-Bissaka’s contracts expire in 2024, and while United remain keen on renewing their Portuguese star, reports claim they are willing to listen to offers for the English defender. Crystal Palace, Wolves, and West Ham are all interested in the 25-year-old while Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for Dalot in the summer.

Wan-Bissaka considering leaving Manchester United

With Man Utd linked with a move for Spanish wonderkid Ivan Fresneda, Football Insider report that Wan-Bissaka is now strongly considering an exit as he doesn’t wish to play as a backup. Meanwhile, United are preparing a massive contract for Dalot despite links with the Spanish giants.

The uncertainty regarding his future has made the 25-year-old strongly consider a move away from Old Trafford in the hopes of finding a starter position. Having made 142 appearances for United since his arrival from Crystal Palace in 2019 for £50 million, Wan-Bissaka could possibly make a return to his old club in the summer. West Ham and Wolves are also rumored to be an option as both clubs showed prior interest in the youngster.
