Manchester United are reportedly planning a sensational offer for Paris Saint-Germain‘s Kylian Mbappe as part of the revamp project under new owners.
Erik ten Hag is exploring the transfer market to sign a new striker despite the recent success of winger Marcus Rashford in the position. The 25-year-old has been in tremendous form, scoring 24 goals across all competitions for United this season. But the Dutch boss is keen on bringing a proper striker to his squad in the summer transfer window.
Anthony Martial’s injury crisis this season forced the club to sign Wout Weghorst on loan in January and while the 30-year-old has brought much-needed enthusiasm and energy to the squad, what Ten Hag wants is a prolific goalscorer.
Potential new owners of Manchester United plan for Kylian Mbappe
Despite signing a new three-year contract with PSG in 2022, Kylian Mbappe remains linked with an exit due to his ongoing disputes with the management. Even Fabrizio Romano reported last October that the French international wanted to leave Parc des Princes as soon as possible.

Meanwhile in Manchester, the eventual sale of the club will see Glazers give way to new owners; and with Qatari billionaire Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe named favorites, it is very likely that the takeover will bring in many new faces to Old Trafford in the summer.
Football Insider report that the new owners are planning to sign Kylian Mbappe in an attempt to not only build a competitive squad but also win over the club’s supporters. While the arrival of Mbappe will certainly make the Red Devil a much stronger team, Ten Hag continues to make the most of the players he currently has.
